As per sources, a 405-page chargesheet has been filed against Tahawwur Rana, who is accused of his involvement in the 26/11 Mumbai Terrorist Attack.
Rana's connection to the 2008 Mumbai attacks stems from his stay in a 5-star hotel, where he had a room registered in his name from November 11 to November 21, 2008.A government lawyer confirmed that they have obtained fresh evidence against Rana in form of the statements and documents presenting a scanned copy of Rana's passport and other documentation he provided to the hotel in Powai as proof of his exit from the country five days before the attacks commenced.
It is said that he was a friend of David Headley and studied with him for about five years at Hasan Abdal Cadet School in Pakistan.

It's worth noting that in October 2009, both Rana and Headley were arrested in the United States on charges related to an alleged plot to target an office of a Danish newspaper that had published controversial cartoons of Prophet Mohammed.
