Ford F-150 Tremor: My Honest Review After 1 Year & 20,000 Miles
Owning the Ford F-150 Tremor for a year has been an amazing experience. I have driven it for 20,000 miles, and now I know its real strengths and weaknesses. Here’s my honest long-term review covering power, fuel economy, comfort, and reliability.
Power & Off-Road Performance
The biggest reason I chose the F-150 Tremor was its off-road ability. The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine is powerful and makes driving on rough roads easy. With 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, the truck climbs hills and moves through mud without struggle.
The 4x4 system and locking rear differential give extra grip on tricky surfaces. The 33-inch all-terrain tires add to the stability. Whether it's rocky roads, snow, or sand, the Tremor package keeps the ride smooth.
Towing & Carrying Load
This truck is not just for off-road fun. I have used it to pull trailers, boats, and heavy loads, and it handles them well. The 10-speed automatic transmission makes towing feel effortless. With a tow rating of 10,900 lbs and a payload capacity of 1,885 lbs, it easily carries heavy stuff.
Mileage & Fuel Costs
A big question for truck owners is fuel economy. In my one year of driving, I got 15-17 MPG in the city and around 19-22 MPG on highways. It’s not the best but expected for a powerful truck like this.
A full tank lasts 400-450 miles, which is okay for long drives. However, fuel costs can add up if you drive a lot.
Comfort & Features
For a rough and tough truck, the Ford F-150 Tremor is very comfortable inside. The seats are soft and spacious, with heating and cooling options. The 12-inch touchscreen is easy to use, and Apple CarPlay & Android Auto make music and navigation simple. The B&O sound system is great for long drives.
The rear seats have plenty of legroom, making road trips comfortable for passengers. There are also many storage spaces for keeping small items safe.
Reliability & Maintenance
After one year, I haven’t had any major problems with the truck. The Tremor package is well-built, and regular servicing has kept it running well. The only downside is that oil changes and repairs can be a bit expensive.

Should You Buy Ford F150 Tremor?
After one year, I can say that the Ford F-150 Tremor is a great choice for off-road lovers and truck users. It has a powerful engine, a comfortable interior, and good towing ability.
If you need a fuel-efficient and small truck, this may not be for you. But if you want something that handles any road, pulls heavy loads, and has modern features, this truck is a great buy.
Would I buy it again? Yes! Despite some small issues, it has been a fun and reliable truck to own.
