Market Giant in F&B, Nestle is eyeing to acquire the country's "Desi Chinese".
Nestle has almost 60% market share in the Instant Noodles range. Nestle has tried to enter the market of fusion noodles, a segment already dominated by Chings. This food brand Ching's Secret is famous for its fusion flavors and mixes. Acquiring it will be helpful for Nestle to expand its products in various varieties.

Capital Foods is the Indian company behind the famous Ching's Secret brand. Nestle(a Swiss-based company) has been eyeing this entity for a potential deal. Well, this is not the first time that Capital Foods had a suitor and no certainty that Nestle would win.
Nestle started in the Indian market in 1961, it is now running the Indian food market with everything from Instant Noodles to Yogurts. Over the last 12 months, Nestle listed Indian Unit has seen 10% gains in Mumbai Trading. Nestle stands at a market value of about $22.3 billion. As per sources, the company seems to be discussing terms for the potential deal.
Accordingly, the Mumbai-based firm could value for worth more than $1 billion. Capital Foods Pvt. has Desi Chinese, endorsed by Ranveer Singh. Ching's Secret is well-known not only for its fusion foods but also for its Smith and Jones mix.
According to Bloomberg, Nestle's spokesperson has not shed any light on the current state of the deal. In February, Nestle purchased a U.S. pet treats plant owned by a local supplier, Red Collar Pet Foods.
