The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500 has been officially launched in India, with an ex-showroom price of ₹5.29 lakh, a ₹5,000 increase compared to the 2024 model. The only update for this new model year is a fresh set of colours, with the Ninja 500 now being available only in Metallic Carbon Grey.
Specifications of the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500:
The new Ninja 500 is powered by a larger 451 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. The engine has a bigger stroke of 58.6 mm (compared to the previous 51.8 mm in the Ninja 400), while the bore size remains at 70 mm. This change provides more torque, which is 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm (an increase from 37 Nm at 8,000 rpm). The engine produces 45 bhp, reaching full power at 9,000 rpm instead of 10,000 rpm, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
Hardware Features of the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500:
The Ninja 500 is built on a strong trellis frame. It uses telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear for suspension. For stopping power, it has a 310 mm front disc brake and a 220 mm rear disc brake, both with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). The seat height is set at 785 mm.
