The wait is officially over! Polestar has revealed the 2026 Polestar 4 in the United States. The uniquely designed coupe-like electric SUV has a familiar Polestar interior, coupled with cutting-edge technology and performance capabilities. The Polestar 4 is now available to order, with delivery expected to begin this fall. Pricing starts at $57,800, with U.S.-bound models being manufactured in Busan, South Korea to be compliant with trade rules and also to make sure the vehicles will actually make it to the U.S. in time.

Innovative Design: No Rear Window, No Problem

A controversial and widely-discussed aspect of the Polestar 4 is its lack of a traditional rear windshield. Instead, the Polestar 4 is equipped with a high-definition rear-facing camera system that displays to a digital rearview mirror. The design helps not only with rearward visibility but also adds to the feeling of space and aerodynamics. The panoramic glass roof gives an even more open and airy feeling to the cabin.

Powertrain Choices: Single and Dual Motors

Inside the Polestar 4, there is a single and dual-motor electric vehicle which provides an option for driving behaviours. The single-motor, rear-wheel drive variants claims to produce 272-horsepower, with the Polestar 4 taking approximately 6.9 seconds to get from 0-60 mph. The dual-motor, all-wheel drive variants produce 544-horsepower and goes from 0-60 mph in a fraction of that time at 3.8 seconds. Both models have a 100 kWh battery and a range of approximately 300 miles for the single-motor and 270 miles for the dual-motor.

Comfort and Technology Inside

On the inside, the Polestar 4 mixes modern, minimal Scandinavian design with innovative technology. The cabin is filled with sustainable materials, including recycled PET upholstery, and also features a 15.4-inch central touchscreen that runs on Android Automotive OS. The Polestar 4 comes equipped with a head-up display, adaptive cruise control and a Harman Kardon premium sound system. The Plus Pack is available as an upgrade and it includes premium comfort features like 12-way adjustable front seats, electric reclining rear seats and three-zone climate control.

Charging and Warranty

Charging the Polestar 4 is easy, with the ability to support up to 200 kW DC fast charging, making it possible to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. Polestar also provides warranties that include everything you'd like to see. There are three warranties: a 4-year/50,000-mile vehicle warranty, an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty, and a 12-year corrosion warranty.
