Ola Electric has officially launched its first electric motorcycle, the Roadster X, in India. The bike comes at a starting price of Rs 74,999 (ex-showroom) and is available in different variants. This launch follows the recent introduction of the new-gen S1 range of electric scooters by the company.

Design & Features
The Roadster X has a futuristic design similar to Ola’s electric scooters. It features a sleek LED headlamp, a flat single-piece seat, and a minimalist aesthetic. The battery is positioned under a faux fuel tank that includes a small storage compartment. The bike is available in five color options: Ceramic White, Pine Green, Industrial Silver, Stellar Blue, and Anthracite.
The Roadster X comes with modern features such as a 4.3-inch LCD digital instrument cluster, cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, reverse mode, digital key, and OTA updates. Safety features include a tyre pressure monitoring system, tow and theft detection, emergency SOS, and a vehicle locator.
Performance & Power
The Roadster X comes with three battery options: 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh. It is powered by a 7 kW motor that produces 9.4 bhp, allowing a top speed of 118 kmph and an acceleration of 0-40 kmph in 3.1 seconds. The highest battery variant offers a range of 252 km on a single charge.
The Roadster X+ is available in two battery options: 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh. It comes with an 11 kW motor generating 14.75 bhp, with a top speed of 125 kmph and an acceleration of 0-40 kmph in 2.7 seconds. The 9.1 kWh battery variant boasts an impressive range of 501 km per charge.
Production & Deliveries
Ola began production of the Roadster X at its Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, last month. Deliveries are expected to start in mid-March.
