Ola Electric has launched the S1 Pro 'Sona' Limited Edition scooter in India, a special version of its popular electric scooter. As the name suggests, this edition is decorated with real 24-carat gold elements, making it a luxury offering in the electric two-wheeler market. In a post on X, Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal mentioned that the S1 Pro Sona is plated with real 24-carat gold.
The scooter stands out with its dual-tone theme, featuring a combination of pearl white and gold colors. The gold accents are applied to various parts of the scooter, including the rear footpegs, side stands, grab rail, brake levers, and ORVM stalks. The handlebar cowl's upper section, the ORVMs, the front fender, and the lower parts of the side body panels are also highlighted in gold. Even the rear swingarm and front telescopic forks have a gold finish, along with the alloy wheels, which now shine in a striking gold color. For added luxury, the scooter comes with dark beige napa leather seats, embroidered with gold thread stitching and zari thread.
Apart from the dazzling design, the S1 Pro Sona Edition is equipped with Ola’s exclusive MoveOS software, which offers a customized user experience. The scooter features a gold-themed user interface and a special MoveOS dashboard designed to match the gold accents.
However, this limited edition won't be available for purchase. Instead, Ola Electric has decided to make it part of a giveaway campaign. To stand a chance to win the S1 Pro Sona Edition, participants can join the #OlaSonaContest by posting a reel or taking a selfie with the Ola S1 scooter outside any Ola brand store. The hashtag must be included in the post to enter the contest. As part of its campaign, Ola plans to expand its sales and service network to 4,000 outlets by December 25, 2024.
This special edition scooter is all about combining luxury with cutting-edge electric technology, and with the giveaway, Ola Electric is creating a buzz in the market.
