Ferris State's Auto Expo: It's More Than Just Cars!
Hey everyone! Ferris State University's School of Automotive and Heavy Equipment is throwing its annual Auto Expo on April 11th, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Big Rapids campus. And let me tell you, it's not your average car show. This thing is a total immersion experience, blending career exploration with, well, a whole lot of automotive awesome. Students, industry pros, and anyone with a passion for cars – you're all invited!

There are hands-on demos, guided tours of their seriously impressive facilities (seriously, you have to see it to believe it!), and a career fair that connects students with some of the biggest names in the automotive industry. This year's a big one because they're launching a new Sustainable Transportation Service associate's degree. It’s a pretty big deal, showing how the industry is moving towards eco-friendly vehicles. You'll see some seriously cool, cutting-edge tech and innovative ideas.

Professor Patrick English, the program coordinator, told me how important this event is for connecting students with industry leaders.
