India Post has announced job openings for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) positions. Eligible candidates can apply for Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak roles through the official website – indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. A total of 21,413 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (Mathematics & English) from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 40 years.
Salary Details
- BPM: ₹12,000 – ₹29,380 per month
- ABPM/Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470 per month
Selection Process
- A merit list will be prepared based on 10th standard marks (converted to percentage with four decimal accuracy).
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via SMS and can check their results on the GDS Online Portal.
Application Fee
- ₹100 for most candidates.
- Exempted: Female, SC/ST, PwD, and Transwomen candidates.
- Payment can be made through credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI.
