Vacancy Details
The NCC Special Entry Scheme has the following vacancies:
- NCC Men: 70 posts
- NCC Women: 6 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a valid NCC ‘C’ certificate and meet the educational qualifications mentioned in the official notification.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 19 to 25 years as of July 1, 2025, meaning they should be born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Probation Period
Selected candidates will be on probation for six months from the date of commissioning. If found unsuitable, their services can be terminated anytime, before or after the probationary period.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Shortlisting of Applications: The Indian Army will shortlist candidates based on their applications. The selection center allotment will be communicated via email.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB interview dates on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be issued joining letters for training in order of merit.
