Phew! The wait is over for over 14 lakh students in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) finally released the HSC Class 12 board results for 2025! This means you can finally breathe a sigh of relief, celebrate all that hard work, and start planning your next steps. This article will give you all the info you need—from checking your results to figuring out what to do next.
Checking Your Results: It's Easier Than You Think!
So, where do you find this magical document that dictates your next chapter? The Maharashtra HSC 2025 results are up on several official websites:
- mahresult.nic.in
- mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in
- mahahsc.in
- mahahsscboard.in
- indiaresults.com
- education.indianexpress.com (and other news sites)
- results.digilocker.gov.in
Here’s how to check: First, head to the official website (I recommend mahresult.nic.in). Look for the "Maharashtra HSC results 2025" link. Then, enter your roll number and your mother's name. Click "View Results," hit "Submit," and there you have it! Your marksheet will pop up. Download it, print it, and maybe do a little happy dance. Remember though, this online version is just a sneak peek. You’ll need to get your official marksheet from your school later.
A Look at the Numbers: Who Aced It?
The overall pass percentage for the Maharashtra HSC 2025 exams was 91.88%. That's pretty impressive, considering how many students took the exams! The Konkan region came out on top with the highest pass percentage, while Latur recorded the lowest. And guess what? The girls outperformed the boys this year—a well-deserved high five to all of them!
A few other key points: You needed at least 35% in each subject to pass. Your marksheet will show your name, board name, mother's name, stream, total marks, percentage, and whether you passed or not. And if you're wondering about stream-wise performance, Science streams generally had the highest pass percentage, followed by Commerce and then Arts.
What Now? Your Options After Seeing Your Scores
Not completely thrilled with your results? Don't panic! You've got options.
If you think there might be a mistake in your marks, you can apply for mark verification. There’s usually a fee involved, and there's a deadline (May 6-20 in this case). If you didn't pass, don't worry, supplementary exams are an option. The schedule for those will be out in June.
Remember to contact your school to find out how to collect your official marksheet and get any other guidance you might need. They're there to help!
