Big News for Aspiring Doctors: NEET UG 2025 Registration is OPEN!

So, you want to be a doctor? Fantastic! The National Testing Agency (NTA) just opened registration for the NEET UG 2025 exam – your ticket to med school in India. Seriously, don't miss this. It's a huge deal.

Important Dates to Remember

The application window's open from February 7th to March 7th, 2025, and that deadline is firm – 11:50 PM on the 7th. Mark your calendars! The exam itself is on May 4th, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM. And, if everything goes according to plan, results should be out around June 14th, 2025. That's a pretty tight turnaround, if you ask me.

How to Register – It's Easier Than You Think!

First things first, head over to the official NTA website: neet.nta.nic.in. Look for the NEET (UG)-2025 registration link – it's pretty prominent, you can’t miss it. Then, just fill out the application form. It's pretty standard stuff: personal info, educational background – you know the drill. You'll also need to upload a passport-size photo, your signature, and some proof of address. After that, you'll pay the application fee (more on that in a sec), and you're basically done! Submit your application and breathe a sigh of relief.

What's the Cost?

The application fees vary depending on your category. For the General category, it's ₹1700. For General-EWS/OBC-NCL, it's ₹1600. If you fall under SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender, it's ₹1000. And for those applying from foreign centers, it's ₹9500.

Am I Eligible? Let's Find Out!

To be eligible, you need to be at least 17 years old by December 31st, 2025. You also need to have passed (or be appearing for) your 12th-grade exams, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. It's pretty standard for medical entrance exams, right?

What to Expect on Exam Day

The NEET UG 2025 exam will have 180 compulsory questions – back to the pre-COVID-19 pattern, so 45 each in Physics and Chemistry, and 90 in Biology. You get 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete it. It's a marathon, not a sprint!

Need a Helping Hand?
