Eligibility and Income Limit
Currently, families with an annual income of ₹2.5 lakh or less are eligible for RTE admission. However, there is a demand to increase this limit due to rising incomes over the years. Experts suggest raising it to ₹5 lakh or setting an ₹8 lakh EWS certificate limit.
Admission Process & Verification

Parents must apply online and submit required documents.

Schools will verify documents from April 9 to April 21.

Selected applicants must confirm their admission at their respective schools.

Any corrections in documents can be made until April 24.

Final verification by CBEO will be completed by May 5.
