Today, January 13, is the last day to register for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. Students seeking admission to Classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools must complete their application on the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE. The fee payment window will remain open until tomorrow, January 14.

Application Fees

• General, OBC-NCL, Defence, and Ex-Servicemen Candidates: ₹800
• SC and ST Candidates: ₹650

Exam Details

The AISSEE 2025 will be conducted offline on OMR sheets in 190 cities across the country. The exam date and admit card details will be announced later by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Eligibility Criteria

Class 6

• Candidates must be 10-12 years old as of March 31, 2025.
• Date of birth must be between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015 (inclusive).
• Girls are eligible to apply for Class 6 admissions in all Sainik Schools.

Class 9

• Candidates must be 13-15 years old as of March 31, 2025.
• Date of birth must be between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2012 (inclusive).
• Applicants should have passed Class 8 from a recognized school.
• Admission for girls in Class 9 depends on seat availability.

Exam Pattern

Class 6

• Subjects: Language, Mathematics, Intelligence, and General Knowledge
• Total Marks: 300 (125 questions)
  • Language, Intelligence, and General Knowledge: 50 marks each (2 marks per question)
  • Mathematics: 150 marks (50 questions)
• Duration: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM (2.5 hours)

Class 9

• Subjects: Mathematics, Intelligence, English, General Science, and Social Science
• Total Marks: 400 (150 questions)
  • Mathematics: 200 marks (50 questions, 4 marks each)
  • Other subjects: 50 marks each (25 questions, 2 marks each)
• Duration: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (3 hours)
