UP Board Exam 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced that the Class 10 and 12 board exams scheduled for February 24, 2025, will be postponed due to the ongoing MahaKumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. The new date for these exams is now set for March 9, 2025.

The exams that have been rescheduled include:

  • Class 10: Hindi and Healthcare papers
  • Class 12: Military Science and Hindi papers

The exams were initially planned for two shifts—8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. However, to ensure the safety and smooth traffic management during the MahaKumbh and Mahashivratri events, the authorities decided to change the dates.

New Exam Dates: The exams will now begin on February 28, 2025, and continue until March 12, 2025.

Over 54.37 lakh students are expected to appear for the exams, with 27.32 lakh students in Class 10 and 27.05 lakh in Class 12. There will be 8,140 examination centers set up across the state.

To ensure smooth conduct, a state-level control room has been set up, and strict monitoring will be done at district and school levels. Any unfair practices during the exams will lead to strict action against the students and those aiding them.
