The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has started the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams today, February 24, 2025. Over 54 lakh students are appearing for the exams across 8,140 exam centers, making it one of the biggest academic events in the state.

Exam Schedule

  • Class 10: The first shift starts with the Hindi paper, followed by the Healthcare paper in the second shift.
  • Class 12: The first paper is Military Science in the morning, while the Hindi exam is in the afternoon.
  • Prayagraj District: Due to the ongoing Mahakumbh festival, the exams scheduled for today have been postponed to March 9, 2025.

Guidelines for Students and Parents

To ensure a smooth exam process, UPMSP has issued the following instructions:

  1. Carry Important Documents – Students must bring their admit card and required stationery (pens, pencils, geometry boxes). Electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly banned.
  2. Reach on Time – Students should arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. Latecomers will not be allowed inside.
  3. Stress Management Support – A helpline (18001806607, 18001806608) is available from 10 AM to 6 PM to help students manage stress. Regional offices in major cities like Meerut, Bareilly, Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur are also offering counseling.
  4. WhatsApp Assistance – Students can ask queries via WhatsApp at 9250758324 for quick help.
