The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final merit list for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination I 2024. Candidates who participated in the exam can now check and download the list from the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
Highlights of the Final Merit List
- Total Candidates: A total of 590 candidates have qualified for the final list.
- Male Candidates: 470
- Female Candidates: 120
- Successful candidates will join:
- The 121st Short Service Commission (SSC) Course for Men
- The 35th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course
- Both courses are scheduled to begin in April 2025.
Key Points
- The final merit list does not include the results of the Medical Examination.
- All selections are provisional, pending verification of candidates’ date of birth and educational qualifications by the Army Headquarters.
- Marks obtained by the candidates will be available on the UPSC website within 15 days and will remain accessible for 30 days.
Steps to Download the Merit List
Follow these steps to check and download the UPSC CDS I Final Merit List 2024:
- Visit the official website: upsc.gov.in.
- Go to the ‘What’s New’ section on the homepage.
- Click on the link titled “Final Result: Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024 (OTA)”.
- A PDF file will open, containing the list of selected candidates.
- Search for your roll number and name in the document.
- Download the PDF and keep a printed copy for future use.
