Anushka Sharma shares a heartfelt moment with Nitish Kumar Reddy's family in Australia, celebrating his historic century in the Boxing Day Test.

Anushka Sharma was all smiles as she posed with Nitish Kumar Reddy's family in Australia, celebrating a special moment during the ongoing Boxing Day Test. Nitish Kumar Reddy, a rising star in international cricket, scored his first-ever century in a match against Australia, making Day 3 of the Test memorable for both him and his family.

Among the many emotions felt by his supporters, Nitish's father, Mutyala Reddy, was spotted in the stands, praying for his son’s success. When Nitish crossed the century mark, Mutyala was overwhelmed with joy, and tears of happiness were seen as he watched his son make history.

To capture the emotional moment, Mutyala shared a photo on Instagram with actress Anushka Sharma, who is in Australia to support her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli. In the picture, Anushka, dressed casually in a white top and denim jeans, can be seen smiling alongside Mutyala Reddy and Nitish’s sister. “A lovely moment,” Mutyala captioned the photo.

Speaking about Nitish's performance, Mutyala expressed how important the day was for their family. “It’s a special day we will never forget. He has been performing well since he was 14-15 years old, and now to see him in international cricket making such a milestone is an unforgettable feeling,” said Mutyala, his voice filled with emotion.

The celebration wasn’t without its controversies, as earlier, on Day 2 of the Test, Virat Kohli was seen receiving boos from the crowd after his dismissal. The moment caused a stir, with Kohli losing his cool as he reacted to fans who provoked him.

Meanwhile, Anushka, accompanied by their two kids, Vamika and Akaay, has been making the most of their time in Australia. She also shared glimpses of their Christmas celebrations on Instagram, posting a selfie with Virat with the caption, “Best day ever!”

On the professional front, Anushka has been on a break from acting since her last movie, Zero (2018), which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She is set to appear in Chakdah Express, a biopic drama, though its release date is yet to be announced.
