The awaited revamped version of BGMI (Battleground Mobile India) is all set to make a comeback in the country soon.
Last year, due to some security issues BGMI was removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Recently, Krafton confirmed that they are working with authorities for the game’s return. Some sources have reported that Krafton has to meet certain conditions for the government to remove the imposed ban.
Authorities banned the game due to the growing addiction among some young children. One report even stated that a teen killed his mother after being stopped from playing the game. This time krafton also has to focus on its animations to show no blood. In order to make the game appear less violent Krafton has changed the color of blood to green. The game will soon be available for downloads.
Before, BGMI PUBG enjoyed massive support from gamers in India. BGMI is said to have made history and became the first E-sports event that got broadcasted on mainstream television.
Krafton also launched Defense Derby in April and Road to Valor Empires developed by Dreamotion and Callisto Protocols for Computers.
BGMI royale-style game is still popular in India. Gamers also chose Call of Duty and Garena Free Fire which became popular PC titles as well.
In a release, South Korea-based Krafton thanked Indian Authorities for allowing the company to resume operations. The game is unbanned for a period of 90 days(3 months) as a trial. However, Krafton is yet to reveal the Battleground’s return date in India.
