MTV's Jersey Shore is Coming to Canada!
Get ready, Canada! The iconic MTV reality show, Jersey Shore, is getting a Canadian makeover. Paramount+ announced a nationwide casting call for Canada Shore (working title), promising a summer of sun, drama, and plenty of "GTL" (gym, tan, laundry) action.
A New Generation of Shore-ites
Paramount+ is searching for ten "fresh-faced, unapologetically wild Canadian singletons" aged 19-26 to fill the house. Think you have what it takes to embody the Jersey Shore spirit? Applications are open until April 30th, 2025. The chosen few will film in Summer 2025, creating unforgettable, unfiltered memories (and hopefully some great TV!). Applications involve a 3-minute video and photos showcasing your personality, party style, and dating life. Think big, think bold, and most importantly, be yourself!
Following in the Footsteps of Legends
The original Jersey Shore launched the careers of iconic personalities like Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, DJ Pauly D, and Snooki. This Canadian iteration, produced by Insight Productions, aims to capture the same raw energy and unforgettable moments that made the original a global phenomenon. With 17 successful international spin-offs already under its belt (including Aussie Shore and Frenchie Shore), the Jersey Shore franchise continues to expand its reach and capture the hearts (and drama) of viewers worldwide.

While Canadians may be known for their politeness, Erin Brock, co-chief content officer at Insight Productions, promises that Canada Shore will showcase a different side of the country: "Canadians may have a reputation for being polite, but we can be just as feisty, loud, dramatic, and unapologetic as anyone else."
