Coronation Street Actress Sacha Parkinson Welcomes First Baby, A Daughter Named Sadie
Sacha Parkinson, best known for playing Sian Power in ITV’s popular soap Coronation Street, has announced the arrival of her first child — a baby girl named Sadie.
The 33-year-old actress shared the joyful news with her fans on Instagram, posting sweet black-and-white photos of the newborn and captioning the post:
“One whole week of Sadie.”

Sacha had revealed her pregnancy in December 2024 via a festive Instagram post featuring polaroid pictures with her fiancé Jon. She captioned it:
“Merry Christmas Eve, Huns...I have a feeling next year is going to be a wild one.”
Sacha Parkinson's Career and Legacy
Parkinson gained fame through Coronation Street between 2009 and 2011, where she made headlines for being part of the soap’s first-ever lesbian storyline alongside Brooke Vincent’s character Sophie Webster.
Beyond Corrie, she’s appeared in several other hit shows including Mr Selfridge, Cold Feet, and the film Apostasy.
Adam Hussain Announces Exit from Coronation Street
In another major Corrie update, Adam Hussain, who played Aadi Alahan for five years, has confirmed his departure from the show.
In an Instagram post, he wrote:
“I guess the secret’s out now! I will be leaving Coronation Street for new pastures.”
He added that he’s “ready to spread his wings” and thanked ITV and the cast for a memorable experience.
Adam also made it clear this isn’t a final goodbye for his character:
“This isn’t a farewell for Aadi, more like a see you later!”
