Warner Bros. India has officially announced that Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya’s Dune: Part Two will return to Indian theatres. The studio shared the news on Instagram, stating, “Back in Cinemas, Bigger Than Ever. Relive the war for Arrakis in Dune: Part Two!”
The re-release is scheduled for March 14 and will be available in IMAX and select theatres for a limited 7-day run. Dune: Part Two, directed by Denis Villeneuve, originally hit Indian cinemas on March 1. The film continues Paul Atreides’ (played by Chalamet) journey on the desert planet Arrakis, where he joins the Fremen tribe to seek revenge for his father's murder by House Harkonnen. The movie has received worldwide appreciation for its stunning visuals, gripping storytelling, and powerful performances.
Interstellar Returns to Theatres Alongside Dune: Part Two
Along with Dune: Part Two, Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi masterpiece Interstellar is also making a limited-time comeback in Indian theatres. Warner Bros. confirmed that the film will also be re-released on March 14 due to high public demand.
Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain, Interstellar is set in a future where Earth is becoming uninhabitable. It follows former NASA pilot Joseph Cooper (McConaughey), who joins a space mission to find a new home for humanity beyond our galaxy. The film, originally released in 2014, remains one of the most celebrated science fiction movies of all time.
Fans now have one week to experience both these cinematic epics on the big screen. Whether you're revisiting them or watching for the first time, this is a rare chance to enjoy these visual masterpieces in theatres once again.
