A Historic Premiere in Srinagar
In a landmark event, Emraan Hashmi's upcoming film Ground Zero was screened for Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Srinagar, marking the first red carpet film premiere in the region in 38 years. The screening was attended by the film's cast and crew, including Emraan Hashmi, Sai Tamhankar, director Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, and producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
A Tribute to BSF's Valor
Ground Zero is inspired by a real-life mission led by BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, who played a pivotal role in eliminating terrorist mastermind Ghazi Baba. Emraan Hashmi portrays Dubey, bringing to life the challenges and sacrifices faced by BSF officers.
Hashmi emphasized the film's significance, stating, "This is the first time a film has been made solely to honor the BSF. We've seen stories based on the Indian Army and police before, but Ground Zero is a tribute to BSF officers, their courage, and the sacrifices they have made for the country."
