Gabriel Macht, best known for playing Harvey Specter in Suits, has left the U.S. with his family after finishing the hit show. However, he’s keeping the exact location of their new home under wraps. The actor, who is now living abroad with his wife Jacinda Barrett and their two children, daughter Satine (17) and son Luca (10), says he prefers privacy. “I don’t tell anybody where I live because I like to keep that under wraps,” Macht told .
The family’s decision to leave the U.S. was part of a plan to explore the world and homeschool their kids. “Right before COVID, we wanted to take the kids out of school and homeschool them,” Macht explained. “But then we got stuck, so we were in Manhattan, and that just wasn’t doing it for us.” In search of a change, they decided to leave and start their adventure abroad.
Macht, who grew up in Los Angeles and spent many years in New York, is also focusing on new career paths. After taking a long break from acting following Suits, Macht is now a creative partner and executive shareholder in Bear Fight Whiskey, a company he feels fits his personality. “I’m a Bear Fight guy,” he said, explaining that the whiskey is an affordable, approachable option for regular people—unlike his Suits character, Harvey, who preferred Macallan.
Despite his new focus on whiskey, Macht is returning to TV in Suits LA. Although he had little interest in acting again after his break, he felt it made sense for his family. He also plans to incorporate Bear Fight Whiskey into the show. "We're trying to figure out how to incorporate Bear Fight into [an episode]," Macht said.
