Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Is Coming and To Be Honest, We Are All Kinda Anxious
The long-awaited season 3 of Ginny & Georgia is finally coming coming out on Netflix and it feels like we've waited forever. The day finally approaches, June 5, 2025, which is literally this week. I’m sure people waiting alongside me were also thrilled with a “Yay!” when the date appeared on social media.
As for Netflix, the first update they will be making will be at 3 AM ET for the US, while for India it will be 12:30 PM IST—which means that depending on your whereabouts you will either enjoy it with dinner or coffee. Regardless, fans are marking the date and preparing themselves for an emotional roller coaster.
The most chaotic moment is still fresh to many of us where Georgia being arrested during her wedding is happening in real time, and and in season 2. Wow, who let that happen? Now everyone is inquiring: Is she going to jail? What is Ginny's status? Are Marcus and Ginny still together? It’s as if these questions have been floating around for the past eternity and we finally are on the brink of some answers.
What Fans Are Looking Forward To And Hoping From Season 3
Let’s not kid ourselves — this show has always been a rollercoaster of sorts, and for good reason. One second you’re ugly crying, next you’re cackling, and before you know it, you’re like “what the heck is Georgia hiding THIS time”?”
This is what we expect this season:
- More attention placed on Georgia’s past because, c’mon, those secrets are insane.
- Health matters to be covered more thoroughly with Marcus, and possibly Ginny.
- Some new potential romances. (Yup, fandom is divided already. )
- Reality check on the mother-daughter relationship we were shown could get smashed to bits as well.
There’s a lot of people on Twitter freaking out already, like this fan tweet that kind of sums it up:

And you know it? Same.
Even on Instagram people are posting edits, cast photos, and even memes of Georgia behind bars – dark humor you could say, but that’s the internet.
Why Season 3 Feels Like a Big Deal (It’s More Than Just Drama Now)
Here’s the thing; Ginny and Georgia is a Netflix show that defies genre and adds more depth to a dull storyline. From their earlier pretense of a simple dramedy show between a mother and her daughter with their wacky adventures, the show evolves into something so real that many relate to like trauma, encompassing racial issues, the dark side of relationships and severe mental health issues. And unlike most shows out there, Ginny & Georgia doesn't mask itself with claiming it has all the answers which makes the show truly exceptional and real.
And Season 3? It’s supposed to go even deeper.
Georgia has always been in character mode, smiling, charming, pretending as if everything is under control. But she has never truly been able to shed her past baggage. Now that she has gotten married and is arrested, her entire mask is likely slipping. That's a terrible scenario right there. If she falls apart, so does Ginny and now that she has started her long overdue healing journey, this scenario is horrifyingly complicated. So now what?
On another note, there’s still no decision from Netflix regarding Season 4. Execs have not come out and commented whether it ‘s going to get renewed or not. So this adds to the increasing amount of stress season 3 carries.
