Beyoncé, leading the nominations with 11, made history by becoming the most-nominated artist in Grammy history, surpassing her previous tie with Jay-Z. Her album Cowboy Carter won Best Country Album, making a significant impact on the genre.

However, it was Kendrick Lamar who stole the show with his track "Not Like Us," which earned multiple awards including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video.
