Naaji Noushi, a mother of five from Kerala, is on an incredible solo road trip, traveling across six countries in her Mahindra Thar. Over the past six months, she has driven through various places, embracing new cultures and meeting people along the way.
Currently in Kuwait, Naaji plans to continue her journey through Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. “I love meeting people and learning about different traditions,” she told the Kuwait Times.
To make her adventure easier, she has modified her Thar into a mobile home. It includes a kitchen with a stove, a gas cylinder, and essentials like rice, flour, and water. “I often get food from friends, but I can also cook if needed. I even made biryani for tourists in Mumbai,” she shared.
A Journey of Passion
Naaji’s love for travel started in 2020 when she explored Kerala. She soon expanded her trips, covering all Indian states, borders, and even Lakshadweep’s islands. Her latest journey began on September 10, 2024, from the UAE. She has already traveled through Abu Dhabi, Oman, and Saudi Arabia and plans to visit Iraq, Afghanistan, and China before returning to India.
Her story gained attention when she drove to Qatar to watch Argentina play in the FIFA World Cup. “I wanted to prove that an Indian woman can travel and live her dreams,” she said.
Through her YouTube channel, Naaji inspires many, encouraging solo travel. “Travel teaches you a lot. It makes you strong and ready for life’s challenges,” she says.
Her journey is proof that passion and determination can break barriers.
