Krrish 4: What's Going On With This Superhero Saga?
Okay, so you know how we've all been waiting for Krrish 4, right? The superhero movie that's been promising to blow us away? Well, things have taken a bit of a… twist. A pretty big one, actually.
A Big Change Behind the Scenes
Rakesh Roshan, the man behind the whole Krrish franchise and the director of the previous films – he's decided not to direct this one. He announced it in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, saying he wants to oversee the project while still being involved, to keep everything on track. It's not that he’s unhappy or anything; it’s more of a proactive decision. It just… feels unexpected, doesn’t it?
And that's not even the only change. Remember Siddharth Anand, who was supposed to produce the movie? He's out too. The reasons are a little murky, though.
Money Troubles and Scheduling Conflicts?
There were rumors flying around about a massive ₹700 crore budget – that's a LOT of money – and some people thought that might have something to do with Anand leaving. But then India Today came out and said it was actually scheduling conflicts with Shah Rukh Khan's film, "King," that caused the problem. Honestly, who saw that coming?
So, what does all this mean? Well, no one knows for sure when Krrish 4 will start filming. The summer 2025 plan is definitely off the table. There's no confirmed director yet, and the budget still needs to be finalized. It kinda feels like watching a slow-motion train wreck, you know?
The Future? It's Still a Mystery.
Despite all the drama, the Roshan family (who own FilmKraft Productions) is still totally committed to making Krrish 4. They're actively looking for a new studio partner to help with the funding. Finding the right director is obviously key, too. So, the hunt is on!
It's frustrating, I know. For us fans, it’s a long wait. But hey, at least we know it’s not dead yet! I, for one, am still clinging to hope that we’ll see Krrish back on the big screen someday. Who's with me?
