Mohanlal’s highly anticipated film L2: Empuraan hit the big screens on March 27, marking the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer. The film opened to a massive response, collecting ₹22 crore on its first day, making it the biggest opener in Malayalam cinema history.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, L2: Empuraan recorded an impressive 61.02% occupancy on Day 1.
