Released in December 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule, the highly anticipated sequel, stormed the box office, becoming one of the biggest hits of the year. Starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the film not only entertained audiences but also shattered records, achieving remarkable success across India. However, after more than a month since its release, the film's box office reign is starting to decline, with newer releases edging in on its dominance.
As of now, Pushpa 2 has amassed a total net collection of Rs. 1229.40 crore in India, after 48 days in theatres. While the film enjoyed an exceptional run in its early weeks, its numbers have slowed down in recent days. On Tuesday, for instance, the movie collected around Rs. 0.55 crore, marking a slight dip compared to Rs. 0.65 crore on Monday, as per Sacnilk’s report.
Interestingly, other films like Kangana Ranaut's Emergency (Rs. 1.07 crore) and Ram Charan's Game Changer (Rs. 0.75 crore) are doing relatively better at the box office on weekdays, as even Pushpa 2 faced a similar fate to Azaad, both collecting Rs. 0.55 crore.
