The screening of Vikramaditya Motwane’s new show, Black Warrant, was held in Mumbai on Thursday evening, with several celebrities from the film industry in attendance. The prison drama, featuring Zahan Kapoor in the lead role, is set to premiere on Netflix India today, January 10. Among the guests was Ranbir Kapoor, who showed up to support his cousin Zahan.

Ranbir’s Stylish Appearance

Ranbir Kapoor, known for his stylish looks, arrived in a casual yet trendy denim-on-denim outfit. He wore a classic white T-shirt paired with a denim jacket and matching jeans. To complete his look, the actor wore white sneakers. Fans quickly shared pictures and videos of Ranbir at the screening, where he posed alongside Zahan and the director, Vikramaditya Motwane.

Zahan Kapoor’s Debut

Zahan Kapoor, the grandson of the late Bollywood legend Shashi Kapoor, is making his debut in the world of web series with Black Warrant. At the screening, Zahan wore a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans. He paired it with a brown jacket and black formal shoes, adding a stylish touch to his look. In a video shared from the event, Ranbir and Zahan were seen sharing a light moment before Zahan left the venue. Ranbir stayed back to pose for the paparazzi.

About 'Black Warrant'

Black Warrant is a prison drama inspired by true events and based on the book Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer by Sunil Gupta and Sunetra Choudhury. The teaser, released in December, shows Zahan’s character struggling to survive in prison while navigating its harsh realities. The series also stars Rahul Bhatt as an authoritative cop.

Directed by Talented Filmmakers

The show is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Satyanshu Singh, with co-directors Ambiecka Pandit, Arkesh Ajay, and Rohin Raveendran Nair. Other key cast members include Paramvir Singh Cheema, Anurag Thakur, and Sidhant Gupta.

Release Date

Black Warrant will be available for streaming on Netflix India from January 10.
