Salman Khan recently clarified why Akshay Kumar left the Bigg Boss 18 finale set without shooting. Akshay, who was on the show to promote his upcoming movie Sky Force, arrived at the set with debutant actor Veer Pahariya. However, much to the surprise of the audience, Akshay left even before the shooting began.
Salman addressed the situation later in the show, explaining that Akshay had to leave because Salman was running late, and Akshay had other work commitments to attend to. “Akki (Akshay Kumar) was here to promote Sky Force, but I got a little late. He had to leave for another function, so he left," Salman shared during the episode. It seems that Akshay waited at the set for an hour after arriving on time, around 2:15 pm, but since Salman had not shown up, Akshay decided to leave as he had a screening for Jolly LLB 3 scheduled. Despite several calls made to persuade him to return, Akshay declined and left without filming his segment.
Reports also revealed that Akshay, known for his punctuality, did not want to delay the process further due to his other professional commitments.
