Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, 59, recently addressed the 31-year age gap between him and his Sikandar co-star, Rashmika Mandanna, 28, in his signature witty style.
At the film’s trailer launch on March 23, Salman responded to media questions, saying,
"If the heroine has no problem, her father has no problem, then why do you? Tomorrow, when she gets married and has kids, she will still work, and she’ll get her husband’s permission, right?"
Salman Praises Rashmika’s Dedication
Salman also praised Rashmika’s hard work, revealing that despite her busy schedule with Pushpa 2, she would finish shooting for that film and then work on Sikandar overnight. Even after injuring her leg, she continued shooting without taking a single day off.

This is the first time Salman and Rashmika are paired together. Initially, some social media users criticized the casting due to the age difference. However, neither Salman nor the makers commented on it before.
