Salman Khan's latest film, Sikandar, had a slow start at the box office but saw a significant jump on its second day. The action-packed movie, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, was released on Sunday, March 30, and benefited from the ongoing Eid celebrations.

According to Sacnilk.com, Sikandar collected ₹29 crore on Monday, taking its total earnings to ₹55 crore in just two days. The film had earned ₹26 crore on its opening day, making the second day's earnings higher. The overall Hindi occupancy on Monday was 24.6%, with evening shows attracting the most audience at 30.18%.
Despite the boost, Sikandar failed to break records. It couldn't surpass Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which made ₹31 crore on its first day. Even worldwide, Sikandar opened with ₹54 crore, one of Salman Khan’s lowest openings in recent years.
About the Film
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after 2023. The film also features Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in key roles. This is Salman’s first Eid release in two years.
Critical Reception
