The 19-year-old singer from Queensland captured hearts and votes across the country. Upon hearing his name announced as the winner, Marshall was overwhelmed with emotion and joy.

A Night of Power Performances
During the two-part grand finale, Marshall gave it his all. His solo performance of “Playing to Win” by Little River Band lit up the stage. He also teamed up with legendary artist Leo Sayer to perform a vibrant duet of “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.”
Marshall shared his thoughts before the final performance:

Meet the Runners-Up
Iilysh Retallick was this year’s runner-up. She brought fierce energy with her performance of “Boys in Town” by Divinyls. Later, she rocked the stage with Wolfmother, performing their classic “Joker and the Thief.”
Gisella Colletti secured third place after singing “How Will I Know” by Whitney Houston. Her highlight moment came when she performed a heartfelt duet of “Heaven Help My Heart” alongside iconic singer Tina Arena.
Star-Studded Finale Moments
This year’s finale was packed with special appearances and powerful performances. Marcia Hines, one of the judges, performed a soulful duet with Idol alum Casey Donovan. The night also saw Guy Sebastian, the first-ever Australian Idol winner, debut his new single live on stage.
