The Last of Us Season 2 Begins Streaming in the U.S.
The second season of HBO’s hit series The Last of Us has officially kicked off. The new season premiered in the U.S. on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 9 PM ET/PT, and is now available to stream on HBO and Max.
Based on the popular video game, the show continues to explore the emotional and physical challenges of survival in a world devastated by a deadly outbreak.

What’s New in Season 2?
Set five years after the events of Season 1, Joel (played by Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (played by Bella Ramsey) are now living in a peaceful community in Jackson, Wyoming. However, their bond is tested as they face new enemies and internal struggles.
