The title for Tom Holland's much-anticipated Spider-Man 4 has officially been revealed! During a video segment at CinemaCon on Monday, Holland announced that the upcoming movie will be titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The film is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.

Filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, also joined Holland to share his excitement for the project. Cretton, who admitted to losing $200 at the roulette table, said it was an honor to be involved with the film, describing Peter Parker’s character as one full of humor and "messy humanity."

Holland expressed his gratitude to fans for their continued support and hinted that Spider-Man: Brand New Day would offer a “fresh start.” He emphasized that this new film would provide audiences with a unique ride, one that fans haven’t experienced before.

The title Brand New Day references a storyline from 2008, in which a major event causes everyone to forget who Spider-Man is, including his loved ones. This fits with the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), where Peter Parker and Spider-Man were erased from everyone’s memory.

Holland’s last appearance as Spider-Man was in No Way Home, which earned over $1.9 billion globally. The upcoming film will continue the adventures of the beloved superhero with a fresh direction.

The new movie is written by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna, who also worked on No Way Home. Marvel fans have plenty to look forward to in the MCU, with Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four coming soon, followed by Avengers: Doomsday next year.

Fans of Spider-Man can mark their calendars for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day release in 2026!
