Today is the 32nd day of the Maha Kumbh, and millions of people are taking part in the holy event. By noon, 44.76 lakh devotees had already dipped in the Sangam, the meeting point of three rivers – Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Since the event started on January 13, over 48.29 crore people have visited to take part in the sacred dip.
Vicky Kaushal Visits Maha Kumbh
Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal also visited the Maha Kumbh today. He shared that he had been waiting for this moment for a long time and felt lucky to be there. The actor took a boat ride and dipped in the Sangam, joining the devotees in this spiritual tradition.
Along with Kaushal, Congress leader Sachin Pilot also attended the Maha Kumbh. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and his cabinet also visited the event. They took a dip in the Sangam together with Governor Ramen Deka, Assembly Speaker Raman Singh, and other MLAs.
Less Crowd and New Traffic Plan
Today, the crowd at Maha Kumbh is smaller than usual. Due to this, the traffic plan has been changed to help visitors. E-rickshaws and autos will now go up to the entry gate, making it easier for people to reach the fairground.
School and Exam Updates
Because of the Maha Kumbh event, some changes have been made in the local education system. The second and fourth semester exams for D.El.Ed students have been postponed. Schools up to class 8 in Prayagraj will be closed until February 15, and students will attend online classes.
Today, February 13, ICSE and CISE board exams started. If any student misses their exam due to traffic or other issues, the board will arrange a new date for the exam.
