In conversation with ET Now, Milind Lakkad, the Chief Human Resource Officer of Tata Consultancy Services, revealed the Industry giant’s outlook for campus hiring and what can today’s freshers expect from TCS.
He said that campus hiring is the core of Tata Group’s Flagship Company, and the company is set to hire in the next few quarters.
Further, When he was asked about the target (40,000) number set out earlier to be the same, he answered that campus hiring is part of their core strategy. Also, he mentioned that they have boarded a large number of trainees in Q1, some same numbers in Q2, and will continue to do the same in upcoming ones.
In the last few quarters, the IT bellwether's focus has shifted from hiring to retaining employees, now optimizing Human Resources.
