Her granddaughter, Parul Kanwar, shared the story online, saying no one helped her grandmother and that she boarded the flight with a bleeding lip and head injuries. The woman was treated in Bangalore, where she received stitches.

Air India said it was concerned about the incident and wished the woman a quick recovery. The airline promised to look into the issue and share more details soon. The family has filed complaints with Air India and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
