Jio launched Jio Bharat and is planning to release the first million units from 7 July across 6500 tehsils,
Jo Bharat Platform can be used by other handset makers to launch new innovative phones. As per some sources, these phones will empower every Indian with digital services and bridge the gap felt in the world of growing technologies. The phone allows the users to access the JioCinema, JioSaavn, FM Radio, and even make UPI Payments via JioPay.
Reportedly, India still has people trapped in this digital divide and is still in the 2G era. The 2G phones do not provide access to the internet even at a time when accessing technology is necessary.
Like any other feature phone, the new JioBharat looks like any other feature phone apart from it’s a smart 4G one. It has an attached keypad and Bharat branding just below the screen. There’s even a camera and speakers on the rear panel.
In this new launch also there’s an option between the two models. The first one has a branding of Jio and the other has the ‘Karbonn’ logo. It comes with two color options which are red and blue.
