Adani Wind Energy MP One, a direct subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, has commissioned a 325 MW wind energy project in Madhya Pradesh.

"Adani Wind Energy MP One Private Ltd (AWEMP1PL), a subsidiary of AGEL, has commissioned a 324.4 MW wind power plant in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.", AGEL said in a statement. 

The plant, which has been commissioned in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, will increase the operational generation capacity of AGEL to 6.1 GW. Moreover, the plant has 2 Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), one for 274.4 MW energy and another for 50 MW power, at a tariff of Rs 2.83 per kWh (kilowatt hour).

The plant will be managed by the Adani Group's 'Energy Network Operation Centre', which provides technical assistance. However, the company did not disclose any details regarding the finances of the project. Industrial experts have pegged a cost of Rs 4.5 crores for the set up of a 1 MW solar capacity. 

The stock of AGEL closed at Rs 2,346.35 per share on Monday.
