So, you're looking for a job in Assam? That's great! There's actually quite a bit going on right now, across lots of different fields. Let me fill you in on some of the exciting opportunities I've found.
Teaching at Bhattadev University – A Chance to Make a Difference
Bhattadev University, which opened its doors in 2019, is hiring temporary Teaching Assistants. They need help in several departments – Commerce & Management, Sociology, and Statistics, to name a few. It's a pretty cool opportunity, especially since it's built on the foundation of the well-respected Bajali College. You'll be part of something growing, something with history. The pay’s negotiable, possibly per day or per class. There's a walk-in interview on March 12th, 2025. Don't forget your application form, CV, and all those important documents!
Government Jobs and More – Plenty of Options!
The government's also doing some hiring. The results for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) 2025 are out, filling a whopping 12,673 Grade III and IV positions. Wow! That's a lot of new jobs. And if you're interested in something a bit different, POWERGRID Assam is looking for Field Supervisors (Safety). You can apply online until March 25th, 2025. Check their website for all the details, of course.
Beyond the Usual Suspects – Other Great Opportunities
But wait, there's more! Bank of Maharashtra (BOM) Assam is hiring managers – various departments, various opportunities. The deadline's March 15th, 2025. Meanwhile, over at Dibrugarh University, they’re looking for an Assistant Professor in Mathematics and a Deputy Registrar (Academic). The deadlines are different for those, so double-check their site.
If you're a coffee lover, the Coffee Board Assam has a vacancy for a Barista Trainer. And for those research-minded folks, Gauhati University has a Research Assistant position for an ICSSR-funded project. Finally, NTPC Assam is hiring Executives with varying CA/CMA qualifications and experience. Their deadline is March 19th, 2025.
