East and Central India (Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh): Scattered to widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are anticipated. This will continue until at least tomorrow for the eastern states and until Friday for the central states.
- Isolated hailstorms are likely in East Madhya Pradesh over the next two days, along with thundersqualls.
- Heavy rainfall is possible in isolated places over the Nicobar Islands for the next three days.
South India (Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal): Similar conditions of widespread rain will prevail over the next 7 days, with the potential for isolated heavy rainfall in several areas, particularly over the next 3 days.
- Strong winds (45-55 kmph) are predicted along and off the Oman coast, over parts of the Northwest Arabian Sea, and along the Gujarat coast.
