Vice President JD Vance Begins Official Visit to India

Accompanied by his wife, Usha Vance, and their three children, the Vance family was welcomed with a ceremonial Guard of Honour at Palam Airport. This four-day visit will focus on strengthening diplomatic ties, particularly in trade and defense.
Vance is set to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for high-level discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two nations. The talks will center on economic agreements, with both sides looking to increase bilateral trade significantly by 2030.
Following official engagements in Delhi, the Vance family will travel to Jaipur and Agra. In Jaipur, they will explore cultural sites, including the UNESCO-listed Amer Fort. Their visit will culminate in Agra, where the Taj Mahal awaits, a site previously visited by notable figures like former President Donald Trump.
