The Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest religious gathering, is expected to attract more than 40 crore devotees and visitors from around the globe by the time it concludes on February 26. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Mauni Amavasya Amrit Snan, scheduled for January 29, which is one of the most important bathing dates during the festival.
During a special meeting of the UP Cabinet, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak welcomed the saints and pilgrims, saying the arrival of the saints had created a spiritual atmosphere in Prayagraj. He also mentioned that all cabinet members would participate in the holy dip.
