Today marks the 11th day of the Maha Kumbh 2025, a grand spiritual event held at Sangam. As of 8 am, over 6.98 lakh people have already taken the sacred dip, with the total number of devotees reaching more than 48.74 lakh on Wednesday alone. The event has seen participation from 10 lakh Kalpavasis and 38.74 lakh devotees, uniting in devotion and making this an extraordinary occasion of faith.
So far, more than 9.24 crore devotees have bathed in the holy confluence of the rivers—Maa Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. The ritual bathing is a symbol of spiritual cleansing, and people from across the world come to experience the purity of this divine event.
Apart from the holy dips, there are also various spiritual programs taking place at the Maha Kumbh, including story-reading and discourses. A significant press conference will be held today by Akhada Parishad President Mahant Ravindra Puri. Kathavachak Devkinandan Thakur and Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Balakanand Giri of Anand Akhara will be attending the event along with other saints. The press conference will take place at Niranjani Akhara at 11 am.
