Allahabad High Court judge Justice Shekhar Yadav has withdrawn from a seminar on the Ram Temple movement at Kumbh Mela on January 22. The seminar, titled "Rashtriya Sangoshthi: Ram Mandir Aandolan aur Gorakshpeeth," was organized by the VHP. Yadav cited January 22 as a working day for his absence.

Mahamandaleshwar Narayanand Giri Maharaj, also known as “Golden Baba,” attracted attention at Mahakumbh 2025 by wearing 6 kilograms of gold jewelry. The ornaments, dedicated to Hindu deities, include rudraksha, coral, and precious stones like ruby and emerald, used in puja rituals.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati, the spiritual head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, along with Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati, performed a sacred 'Havan' at Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. Their spiritual offering added to the divine atmosphere of the Kumbh Mela, attracting numerous devotees for blessings.

National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah extended his greetings to devotees participating in Mahakumbh 2025. He praised the event, which has been organized for centuries, and expressed his appreciation for those taking a holy dip in the sacred Ganga, wishing them blessings during the spiritual gathering.

CM Yogi Adityanath is personally overseeing crowd management at Mahakumbh 2025. With large numbers of devotees also visiting Ayodhya and Kashi, extra measures have been implemented for smooth flow. Ayodhya and Kashi are on high alert, ensuring a comfortable experience for all visitors.

On January 18, 1800 Naga sadhus will undergo initiation at Mahakumbh 2025. The ceremony will begin in the morning with the oath-taking, followed by a ritual bath. At midnight, they will perform 108 dips, marking a significant spiritual event in the Kumbh Mela.

A gang of thieves using hexa blades to steal was caught at the Maha Kumbh 2025. The police arrested seven individuals involved in the thefts. The authorities continue to ensure safety and security at the ongoing religious event in Prayagraj.

At the Maha Kumbh 2025, thousands of devotees are visiting the Kinnar Akhara in Sector 16 for blessings. Devotees are seeking blessings from Kinnar saints and asking for coins cut by teeth, wishing for happiness and prosperity. The Kinnar Akhara attracts a large crowd daily.

Despite a cold wave and dense fog in Prayagraj, large numbers of devotees continue to arrive for Maha Kumbh 2025. Devotees from various regions, including Baba Abhay Singh from IIT Bombay, Harsha Richaria, and model Varsha Sanwal from Pune, are drawing attention at the event.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath's visit to Mahakumbh, initially scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed. He will now arrive after January 20 to review preparations for the Mauni Amavasya festival and assess measures for managing the expected crowd.

Today marks the sixth day of Maha Kumbh. Over 7 crore people have already taken a dip, with 10 lakh Kalpvasis participating. On Friday alone, 19.69 lakh people bathed in the holy waters of the Kumbh, continuing the tradition of spiritual significance and mass participation.

By 10 am, 10 lakh devotees have already taken a holy dip at Mahakumbh 2025. Today, the total number of bathers is expected to reach 20 lakh. So far, over 7 crore people have participated in the sacred bathing ritual at the Kumbh Mela.
