Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer Rs 22,700 crore to the bank accounts of more than 9 crore farmers across India. This is part of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, which helps farmers by providing financial assistance.
This money will be sent in one go, which will help farmers with their farming expenses. Along with this, PM Modi will also talk about the creation of a Makhana Board to help Makhana farmers, as announced in the Union Budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
PM Modi Adjusts Schedule for Students
PM Modi has changed his schedule slightly on Monday to make sure students taking board exams are not affected. He will leave for his event at 10 AM instead of 9:45 AM, giving students enough time to reach their exam centers. PM Modi is in Bhopal for the 'Invest Madhya Pradesh- Global Investors Summit 2025' and other important events, showing his concern for students.
Global Business Conference in Assam
In Assam, ambassadors from 61 countries have arrived for a business conference. They will also visit Kaziranga National Park. The main event, the ‘Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit,’ will start on Tuesday. Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared that the goal of the event is to show that peace has returned to the region and to bring in more investments.
