Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced in a special message that he will perform an 11-day anushthan (ritual) before the January 22 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at Ayodhya's Ram temple.

In a video message on his social media platform, X, he stated that,

 

 

“Only 11 days are left for Ram Lalla's ‘pran pratishtha’ in Ayodhya. I am fortunate to witness the auspicious occasion. God has asked me to represent the people of India during the ceremony. Keeping in mind, I am beginning an 11-day special ritual today. I seek blessings from all of you,”

In the same message, he even described his feelings in words

, "I am experiencing such feelings for the first time in my life. At this moment, it is very difficult to express my feelings in words".

As per officials, the PM will follow arduous guidelines that are detailed in scriptures related to the ‘Pran Pratistha ceremony’

Recalling the event of Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary Today, PM said that it is a "joyous coincidence". Later, he referred to the birth anniversary of Jijabai, Chhatrapati Shivaji's mother, and recalled his mother.

The Prime Minister urged Indians to connect with him via his Namo app and sought their blessings.
